The question paper generator software follows four steps in building the question bank and generating the software. Generating the question bank comes as the second stage. With the questions already present in the question bank, paper generation becomes easy. You do not have to spend lots of time entering the questions manually and then getting the printouts each time. Instead, the question paper is generated within a few minutes.
Here, you will learn how to create the question bank.
The questions are saved in Word files according to subject or topic and are known as Question Resource (QR) files.
Every question possesses a unique ID number which is assigned by the software automatically and only this number is stored in the software's database.
As you do not need the software to enter the questions, you can create the question Word document files even before getting the software.
These QR files can contain any number of questions as you want. There is no limit to the number of questions in one file.
In the question bank, you have to first Create QR file and mention the number of questions. You have the option of creating bilingual question papers too.
The next step is to type in the new document name and click the CREATE button. On doing this, you will receive a message window saying File Created.
You will then be taken to a Word file document where you can choose an existing file, type a set of new questions or copy paste from an existing question paper or document.
Once you have saved the document, you have to come back to the question bank interface and click on List. With this, you will get the unique file name of all the questions entered in the Word document.
The next step is to categorize the questions. You can filter the keywords as per their subject, chapter, topic, category and type. You also need to select how you want to display the questions and the answer options by clicking one of the options in the Display section.
This is also where you allot marks or difficulty level to each question. For this, you have to select a group of questions, select the Level box and choose the level or marks you want to allot to that particular group of questions.
The question paper making software allows you to create your question bank much before you have to create the actual question paper. You can use the questions in the question bank as many times as you want.
